The Woman Huila coffee from the El Desarrollo cooperative comes from Huila, a region in Colombia where 51 women-run farms have joined forces to create a blend of three coffee varieties: Caturra and Castillo . In an industry where a large proportion of the players are men, I wanted to give special attention to projects like this one.
When preparing cappuccino, its almond and vanilla notes come through in a very pleasant and delicate way. To fully develop the floral and fruity notes, it's best prepared as filter coffee.
