Our Yellow Catuai coffee comes from the Regional Cooperative of Coffee Growers of Vale do Rio Verde Ltda. , which was founded on May 7, 1961. The cooperative arose from the pioneering spirit and collaboration of dedicated coffee farmers from Carmo de Minas and surrounding communities with the goal of establishing the region as a benchmark for high-quality coffee .

The farms are located on the fertile slopes of the Serra da Mantiqueira in southern Minas Gerais , near the source of the Rio Verde . This microregion is known for its particularly nutrient-rich soils and its mild, balanced climate – ideal conditions for growing specialty coffee.

Thanks to these natural conditions and the long-standing expertise of the producers , Carmo de Minas is now one of the most important growing regions for high-quality Arabica coffees in Brazil. Our Yellow Catuaí brings the best of this region to your cup: balance, sweetness, and an elegant flavor profile.
