Where does this coffee come from?
The Finca La Sirena is located in the department of Quindío, near its capital Armenia, at an altitude of 1,420 meters. The region is known for its nutrient-rich soils and exceptional quality coffee. Here Geraldine and Juan David founded their Sens Coffee project , in which they produce co-fermentations of coffee with different fruits. We have roasted a Castillo for you using osmotic dehydration with apricot . The taste and aroma of fresh apricot in this coffee is simply delicious. This coffee is perfect for filter coffee.
Osmotic dehydration combines glucose sugar with a natural fruit extract. The glucose sugar binds the free water in the coffee, therefore penetrates the bean and replaces the water molecules with the fruit-enriched sugar. This process brings flavors to the coffee that are not naturally present. Only natural ingredients are used.
